User mentions are a great feature in Confluence that allows you to notify a user that they are discussed in a page and provide a quick link to their user profile. If you're creating a directory or team list, consider using user mentions.
To create a user mention
- While editing a page, type the @ symbol. You can start typing the name of the selected user. A suggestion menu will appear based on what you've typed.
- Select the correct user. Their name will now appear highlighted and will serve as a link to their user profile. (Example: Joseph Koivisto )
